Fandango’s Provocative Question #139

Do you consider yourself today to be more of a spontaneous person or more of a stable person? Which characteristic in others, spontaneity or stability, do you prefer? Why? https://fivedotoh.com/2021/10/13/fandangos-provocative-question-139/

I don’t know if I would say “stable” but I am a planner. I do like to know what I am doing and when. I do love some spontaneous things but not when I am doing something that I have scheduled! I would automatically think it is a control thing, why I like everything planned, but some of it is my PTSD. I don’t like the unexpected bad things which makes me leary of unexpected anythings!

What do you dream about?

The Sound of One Hand Typing

My dreams don’t look like this, but I’m sure for some they do. My dreams are full of cubicles and Coke machines and cigarette machines, and doors that lead to concrete patios that I never walk out to see. And restrooms, and convenience stores, and hotel rooms, and cafeterias. Occasionally a train will pull up and I’ll get aboard, or I’ll be riding in a car along roads that fork constantly, one tine taking me on one adventure, the other taking me on a completely different one.

The waterfall is interesting, because at night I sleep to the sound of rain falling or waterfalls gushing water. And no, I haven’t missed the mountain in the back that looks like a mandrill emerging, or the cloud kitty chasing the cloud fish, or the chimpanzee on the left side of the picture. Maybe I should look around during my dreams more. What…

Kiss Me with Those Fuzzy Lips

Every family has an Uncle Steve!!

A Unique Title For Me

Uncle Steve went to the zoo with his brother Joe and his family.  It was a lovely day, but Joe’s wife Kathie never liked Steve being around her children, 6-year-old Christine and 4-year-old Billy, because he was an incorrigible character that would forever be a bachelor, because no good woman would ever have him.  Kathie had a look of disgust on her face when they went to visit the giraffes and Steve said, “Kiss me with those fuzzy lips”, so she ushered the kids away and said, “Let’s go visit the gorillas, that should be fun.”  Steve laughed and told his brother, “Doesn’t she look stunning and you know how much I have always preferred a full-grown bush over a trimmed pussy.”   Joe told his brother, “I know all of your stories about your mustache rides and I just wish that you could behave better around the kids.”  Steve seemed…

Simply Six Minutes Challenge

A sweet, fun love poem!

The Bag Lady

***

Do you love me? Give me a smooch? Or stand by me in the garden—I’ll scooch. Yes we do take up a lot of room, just as I’m sure my height makes you swoon. I’ve been admiring you my dear, and feel I must make it clear. Your legs, so long and sturdy, surely an obvious aspect of beauty, but your neck, your neck, so long and slender, I just want to caress it, so tender. I’m not forgetting your color and spots, which of course, I love them lots! You see, I think I’m completely smitten! Maybe you’re shy, I just should have written—a note instead of being so bold, as to say outright what I just told.

Aw come on, pucker up and give us a kiss!
Clyde, will you quit mucking about! There are people watching.
So? It’s better than blowing raspberries at them.
Clyde! Stop it!
Sybil, you are such a prude. Where’s the harm in it? It’s just a kiss!
I do not want to kiss you. Now go away and munch grass or something.

Clyde swung his lanky frame towards the trees, graceful in his movements, a ballet of long legs and neck.
Sybil watched him go and sighed.
He was so young, always playing the fool and she wasn’t ready for commitment yet.
His next yell got her attention though.

Hey Sybil! I’ll serenade you instead……………
‘When I’m calling you, oo-oo-oo, oo-oo-oo
Will you answer too, oo-oo-oo, oo-oo-oo………

SHUT UP CLYDE!!
