  9. What are clams casino? When you go to the buffet at the casino and you find the raw bar.
  10. What game is played in the World Series of Poker? Trouble…pop the bubble and race around the diamond to get all your pieces homethe baseball players can even play it in the dugout during the game!

then sit and have a coffee
and share just what you’ve got.
I know it’s surprising
I’m really not so blunt

This is a new to me form called a Waltz Wave. It was developed by Leo Waltz. It is a syllabic form with a title and 19 lines. The subject should be calming. The syllabic pattern is: 1/2/1/2/3/2/1/2/3/4/3/2/1/2/3/2/1/2/1. Words may be split to fit the pattern.

The teacher looked around her room wondering where the rest of the desks were; there had always been twice as many desks, hadn’t there? Maybe someday the desks could be put back and the students could pile into her room like they used to. She sat and thought, if this is the way it would be forever shouldn’t she just start getting used to it?
