I love my little guys and miss them so much! I just hope they are still there to make a move with me. I feel like with their little, short life spans that I am missing out on so much!
Susan’s contribution to Simply 6 really shows what it means to be “in the dog house”. Thanks for your contribution!

Today’s prompt is:
David had the worst day.
His 8 page report wasn’t in the folder and was declared lost.
His water pump gave out on his SUV requiring a tow.
He’d forgotten his mother-in-law’s birthday!
Sandy wasn’t happy when he came home late, without picking up the take-out, keeping her mother sitting in the dining room for 2 hours!
David had many great excuses but the one that didn’t ‘cut it’ was not making a ‘heads-up’ call to warn her.
Later that night, Sandy, still furious about his lack of communication, handed him his pillow and pointed to the couch.
When he returned from brushing his teeth, there was Bruno on the couch also annoyed.
It was HIS spot.
David just couldn’t win today…
He spent the night on the floor.

Oh, my god… what did you do to Brutus? Just LOOK at him! He hates it, take it off! Yes, he does, look at his eyes, he hates it. Stop laughing; he knows you’re laughing at him. It’s humiliating. Dogs can to get humiliated! Come here, Brutey.
Is that MY sweater? You cut the sleeves off MY sweater to put on the dog? Why? What is wrong with you? I liked that sweater ever if you didn’t.
Just between the two of us, he looks like an idiot. I’d never let HIM know it though. Now, take that off him, and STOP TAKING PICTURES! What are you going to do with them? What? NO! You can’t post them on Instagram! Brutus has a dignified social media presence! You will RUIN his reputation!
