Hopeful 

As I walk along the ruins 
I try to recall the memories 
that we have built together. 

I recall your touch and your blessing,  
but flounder in the  shadows  
that used to be our love.  

Moving towards the sun 
I feel hopeful that peace 
and happiness will be mine again.
