  1. plough
  2. thou
  3. bough (or bow)
  4. vow
  5. brow
  6. wow

A Really Good Friend

As I plough through life

I vow to be

A friend to thou

As you are to me.

I bow my head

And scrunch my brow

Amazed at your friendship

Wanting to say “wow”.

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Nov. 14/2020

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “ring.” Use it as a noun, a verb, an adverb, or an adjective…use it any way you’d like. Have fun! https://lindaghill.com/2020/11/13/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-nov-14-2020/

The Ring

Darcy, did he give you a ring?

No, why was he supposed to?

Well, I thought you two were talking now. You know, about life.

We are talking about life but what does a ring have to do with life?

Um, are you kidding me? If someone gave me a ring, I would be head-over-heels excited, no elated!

I give you a ring every day. You get like that every day because of me?

Darcy, I’m not talking about the telephone!

Then what are you talking about?

Oh, nevermind. When the time is right you will know.
