You lift me up

You lift me up 
I see your face 
I love your smile 
your warm embrace. 

You make me howl 
when having fun 
You make me feel 
I’m the only one. 

You’re like a bump 
in the dark at night 
when I resolve  
to use no light.  

You’ve become a fixture 
you’re my handsome king 
Feeling lonely  
is no longer a thing.
